It has been a great honor and joy to share the teachings
I’ve remembered and Path I’ve cultivated with Cacao,
as well as to learn more about Cacao from and through you!
As we integrate our live immersion,
I would appreciate hearing from you and your journey.
With your reflective words of feedback, my hope is to continue being in service
to this work in a more intimate, inclusive, integrative way. And for this, I thank you.
Thank you for being a part of our Cihuatl Cacao Live Immersion and Community
and for contributing to make it what it needs to be.
Your presence, your voice, your story, your prayers and path truly are creating the building foundation
of this offering and of the messages being spread. I will continue remembering and cherishing this time with you in my Heart always.
I too hope that these shared experiences have provided support, inspiration and healing for your walk forward.
Siempre Con Amor,
Mariana

“Cacao mamacita Cacao, teach me how to love, teach me how to rise above.
Cacao hermanita cacao, teach me how to heal, these wounds that I must feel.
Cacao is weaving with my own life journey right now in a very potent way... she is showing me a primary wound related to a deeply ingrained hatred of men. She is asking me to heal this projected hatred, which is not meant for the men themselves, but for the false programs that have corrupted their hearts with greed.
I love that a few sisters have spoken to their relationships with their fathers coming forward in their own ceremony with Cacao.
I feel this is a collective thread that is being woven... a healing in the heart for the men in our lives whom we love, or wish to love... and a redirection of the righteous anger of the enslavement of the feminine/earth/womb/blood/cacao toward the distortion of greed itself.
Cacao is showing me how to feel these wounds, how to truly love and rise above the projection to find my fierce loving anger that transforms the root of the pain itself.
At the beginning of our communion, I gifted cacao to a Sacred Union tree and Earth Yoni Portal that I have been tending to and sitting with since I moved to the land that I am now calling home…
This tree has been grounding my sexual healing and awakening in the most gentle and loving way and it felt so good to introduce cacao to the land ancestors and spirits of the original stewards (eastern Cherokee tribe, Tsalaguwetiyi)...
I feel very humbled to be in communion with cacao, whose medicine is not a part of my blood ancestry, on this land, which is not the home of my ancestors, and to still feel the love and support for the healing I am doing to unravel the many layers the distortion of greed that lives within me...
Maraina, I am deeply grateful to you for holding this medicine space for me to remember the herstory of Cacao, and for the privilege of receiving the wise ways that your ancestors were in right-relationship with this medicine. Thank you for your gentle guidance and heartfelt invitations for me to begin this mending and healing journey with Xocolatl. ”
“Communing with Cacao in this intentional way is an act of decolonizing our relationship to what so many of us westerners know as chocolate. Like all plants, Cacao has a unique spirit, message, and essence to share with us. Depending what is alive for you in your own life, the messages that are received will vary.
It is clear in the cadence of Mariana’s voice, and the words she has chosen to share with us, that the wisdom of Cacao and the cultural traditions associated with this sacred plant medicine, course through her veins. If you are curious about deepening your relationship with Cacao, Mariana is a compassionate and experienced guide.”
